He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Lee Montez, Victoria Leila VanBuskirk (Gary), Gabriel John Montez, Sr., Janice Lynn Montez and Jesse Reuben Montez, Sr. (Crystal Fulwider); his grandchildren, Gabriel John Montez, Jr., Jesse Reuben Montez, Jr., Anthony Nathaniel Montez and Chloe Victoria Montez; his sister Deborah Montez; and his children, Danielson Nichols, Jonathan Nichols, Savannah Tomlin, Angelina Nichols and Jessica Nichols. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
