She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Earl Hicks and Issac Prather; and her son Denny Joe Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Ronald R. Hicks of Icard and Cynthia Hicks Bentley (Michael); her grandchildren, Alex Bentley of Valdese, Brandon Bentley of Mooresville, Ronnie Hicks (Danielle) of Hickory and Steven Hicks (Alice) of Archdale; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Bentley, Halle Bentley, Casey Parks (Austin), Dennis Hicks, Stephanie Hicks, Joseph Hicks and Greysen Parks.
