He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lawrence Alton and Lydia Virginia Mays Cox. He is survived by: his parents, Rondy James Cox and Jeanne Marie; his wife Carrie Haigler Cox of Granite Falls; his sons, Matthew Tyler Cox (Amber) of Granite Falls and Mark Aaron Cox (Courtney) of Lenoir; his brother Shaun Gregory Cox of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Parker Lee and Spencer Lane Cox.
