He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ridgway and Lillian Ridgway; his wife Irene Palmer Ridgway; his half-sisters, Berksie Whitaker, Doris Stevens and Evelyn Howell; and his siblings, John Parks Ridgway, James Abner Ridgway and Mollie Ray.
He is survived by: his sister Melba Tucker (Tommy); his children, David Ridgway (Lisa) and Bette Hedrick (Bruce); his stepsons, Roy Price (Lethea), Gary Price (Helen) and Jack Holsclaw (Carolyn); and his grandchildren, Dax Ridgway, Nikki Levin (Eric), Chad Hedrick, Nadia Beam (Jeff), Ben Hedrick (Erika) and Samantha Conley (Ryan). He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring or Hudson United Methodist Church.
