It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Leona Hicks of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Maude Gragg Chester; her husband Boyce Hicks; her son Ricky Hicks; and her siblings, Allen, Bobby Chester, Carolyn and Nancy Chester.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Hicks (Deborah) and Barry Hicks (Kelly); and her siblings, Lucille Church (Claude), Ruby Ervin, Margie Taylor (Dewey), Reba Greene (Jim) and Harvey Chester (Libby). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
