He was predeceased by: his father William Thomas Lail; his wife Sherry Gurley Lail; his daughter Richelle Millison Lail; and his brother William "Bill" Lail. He is survived by: his mother Myrtle Ruth Lail of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Tanner Scott Yount and Aubree Millison Yount; his siblings, Alan Lail (Sharon) of Hickory, Todd Lail (Cathy) of Granite Falls and Kim McKee of Granite Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Pam Lail of Hudson and Susan Singleton of Hudson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
