Richard Arlen Covert Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Arlen Covert of Hudson, North Carolina, born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on November 17, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Francis "Dean" Marion Covert; and his brothers, Stanley "Wayne" Pritt and William "Bill" Covert. He is survived by: his wife Susan Mitcham Covert; his children, Barry Dean Covert of Chapel Hill, NC and Kelly Dawn Miller (Eric) of Hudson; his siblings, Pete Pritt of Morgantown, WV, Larry Covert (Pat Wells) of Jacksonville, FL, Robert Covert (Rosario) of Houston, TX, Paula Martin of Kingburg, CA, Carol Williams (Allen) of Katy, TX, Linda Martin (Alex) of Morgantown, WV and Sandra Lear (David Chisler) of Morgantown, WV; and his grandchildren, Catherine Paige Huggins and Michael David Huggins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
