He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Brewer and Effie Sparks Brewer; and his siblings, Patricia B. Glenn, Flo B. Lipps, Roger Brewer, Richard Brewer and Larry Joe Brewer.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ellen Brewer; his sons, Phillip Joe Brewer (Marsha) of Hickory, Timothy Dion Brewer (Patricia) of Vale and Matthew Ryan Brewer of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Chelsea LaChell Brewer (Sabastian), Timothy James Brewer, Lindsey Precious Hillman (Elliott), Alexis Nichole Brewer, Mattalyne Ryanne Williams (Ryan) and Braelyne LaShae Brewer; his stepgranddaughters, Maggie Faith Duncan (Darius) and Hannah Alicia Duncan; his great grandchildren, Zayne Alexander Trivette, Kaylee Jane Brewer, Noah Joe Hillman and James Oliver Hillman; his stepgreat-granddaughter Lena Louise Neff; and his grandchildren, David and Devin.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Living Hope Church (1890 Connelly Springs Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
