She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Hayes and Helen Davis Keller; and her sister Betty Hayes Widener. She is survived by: her husband Danny Johnson; her stepdaughter April Killian of Newton; her siblings, Benny Hayes (Anne) of Conover, Danny Hayes (Doris) of Granite Falls, Jill Mann (Gary) of Hudson and Susan Brittain of Hudson; her grandchildren, Sara Killian, Amber Williams and Kylie Watts; her close friend Karen Whisnant; her sister-in-law Johnsie Hayes; her niece Shannon Williams; and her nephew Mark Hayes. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
