She is survived by: her husband Gary Wayne Austin; her children, Michael Austin, Deborah Mason of Hildebran and Angela McGee (Doug Woodall) of Hudson; her siblings, Charlie Hicks of Boone, Jerry Hicks (Nancy) of Boone, Orval Hicks (Sylvia) of Boone and Hattie Presnell (Benny) of Valle Crucis; and her grandchildren, Donna Hodges, Melissa Pope, Jennifer Austin, Gary Harris, Brandon McGee, Ashley McGee and Jessica Braswell.
