He is survived by: his wife Debbie Smith; his children, Chad Smith (Andriena) of Apex and Kendra Winebarger (Chase) of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Mallory Winebarger, Presley Smith, Tucker Winebarger and Emmie Smith; his brother Thomas Smith (Eric Newman); and his close friend Carter-Finley.
