She was predeceased by: her father Mack May; her husband Gaither Winfred Withers; and her son Douglas Evan Withers. She is survived by: her children, Brian Steven Withers (Gina) and Tina Withers Burdette (Jim); her grandchildren, Evan Withers, Ethan Withers, Codi Johnson (Zach) and Austin Burdette (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Ayla Withers, Mason Williams, Easton Burdette and Addison Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Children's Fund at 1787 Cajah Mountain Rd, Hudson, NC 28638.
