She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Laws; her children, Richard Smith (Teresa) of Lenoir, John Smith (Faye) of Casar, NC, David Smith (Tammy) of Lenoir and Becky Richards of Lenoir; and her sister Betty Lipps of Lenoir, Five. She is also survived by Five grandchildren and, six great grandchildren.
