She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hayes and Verna White Hayes; her siblings, Larry Hayes and Betty Crouch; and her brother-in-law Ray "Buck" Crouch.
She is survived by: her husband Marshall Kirby of Hudson; her children, Michael Kirby of Hudson and Donna Hicks (Marty) of Hudson; her grandchildren, Adrian Isley (Jemal) of Hudson and Brandon Vance; her great grandchildren, Nevaeh Burgess and Malkia Isley; and her brothers, Rev. Clyde Bumgarner (Gail) of Granite Falls, Ronald Hayes of Granite Falls and Floyd Hayes (Libby) of Bethlehem. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Vision Baptist Fellowship (4858 Grace Chapel Rd, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
