She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stamey and Bessie Gilliland Stamey; her husband Thomas Triplett Sr; and her siblings, Claude, George, Wilburn, John Jr., Evelyn, Betty and Pearlean.
She is survived by: her children, Jewel Spears of Hudson and Thomas Triplett Jr. of Hudson; her sister Reda Duncan of Hickory; her granddaughters, Carla Austin and Amanda Keller; and her great grandchildren, Noah Austin, Abigail Austin and Thea Keller.
