He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hargus and Lola Minton Hargus. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Barnette Hargus; his children, Mark Hargus, Kim Shook, Kevin Hargus (Michelle) and Richard McNeil (Jennie); and his brother Norman Hargus (Reita).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
