He is survived by: his daughter Mimi Hagan (Gary) of Chapel Hill; his cousins, Robert Lingle, Carolyn Lingle of Hudson, Skip Downs, Davanna Downs of Hudson, James Lingle, Constance Lingle of Hickory, NC, Etonna McDade and Stuart McDade of Hudson, NC.; and also Judy Hendrix of Hudson.

Memorial donations may be made to ASPCA.org or Hurricane Florence Relief fund.
