With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann Hamby Arnette of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pless Hamby and Bessie Cox Hamby; and her siblings, Gene Hamby and Kathleen Hatley. She is survived by: her husband Arvel Arnette; her children, Rodney Chris Arnette of Hudson, NC, Teresa Arnette Cashion (Scotty) of Lenoir, NC, Pamela Arnette Lee (Buddy) of Granite Falls, NC and Kimberly Arnette Parsons (Justin) of Supply, NC; her sister Peggy Hamby Smith (Andrew) of Lenoir, NC.; her grandchildren, Brooke Watts, Tyler Arnette, Brittany Bentley, Jordan Soots, Katelyn Lee, Karrie Lee, Tanner Arnette, Emma Drum and Liam Parsons; and her great grandchildren, Mason McLamb, Lillian Baird, Stefan Page and Sheperd Page.
