As we bid adieu to Jean Minton's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jean Minton has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Minton and Ada Fleming Minton; her husband D. A. Setzer; and her sister Marjorie M. Holden. She is survived by: her daughter Pam Hughes (Ron); her grandchildren, Brett Hughes and Bailee Hughes Burleson; and her great grandchild Kinley Burleson. She is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (1787 Cajah Mountain Rd, Hudson, NC 28638). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
