With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Brent Williams (Hudson, North Carolina), who passed away on October 1, 2019 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Preston and Ada Mae Clark Williams; and his brothers, Harry Williams, Vern Williams, Bill Williams and Floyd "Flop" Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Baird Williams; his children, Roger Perry (Paula) of Lenoir, Travis Williams of Hudson and Jennifer Persinger (Johnny "Eddy") of Lenoir; his siblings, Alvin Williams (Betty Jean) of Lenoir, Johnny Williams of Gamewell and Linda Williams Walker of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Chris Perry, Olivia Smith, Dawn Morales, Jonah Persinger, Carter Williams, Jessica Gragg, Jonathan Gragg and Joseph Persinger; and his great grandchild Julian Morales. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
