James Ray Marley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ray Marley of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 15, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roy Marley and Virginia Hamby Marley; his wife Minnie Blackburn Marley; his siblings, Daniel Marley, John Allen Marley, Horace Marley and Reba Anderson; and his son-in-law Wayne Weaver.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Marley (Connie) of Hudson, Linda Weaver of Hickory and Mary Teague (Ray) of Granite Falls; and his brother Gene Marley (Mary) of Hickory. He is also survived by grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 172 N Main Street Parallel, Granite Falls, NC 28645.
