He is survived by: his parents, James Allen Hand Sr. and Azalee Greene Hand; his children, James Glen Hand of Kings Creek and Tracy Murrell Payne of Maryville; his grandchildren, Michaela Hand, Megan Swaim, Chloe Murrell and Dylan Murrell; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Marie Cowick and Arya Swaim; and his sisters, Wanda Arrowood (Arnold) of Lenoir, Vicki Flanagan (Randy) of Lenoir and Lori Broyhill (Kevin) of Pilot Mountain.
