She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Murphy; her parents, Banks Sr. and Evver Clayton, Sr.; and her daughter Helen Murphy Wright. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Banks Murphy (Linda), Joanne Meeks Gains (Phil), Marie Watson Poole and Linda Murphy Cole. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and multiple great and great-great grandchildren.
