He is survived by: his wife Starr Bowers; his children, Cody Roark, Joshua Bowers (Ree) of Hickory, Tiffany Stroud (Paul) of Bethlehem, Stephanie Adams (Jeff) of Connelly Springs, Heather Adams of Hickory and Kayla Bowers of Winston Salem; his grandchildren, Nathan, William, Lane, Katie, Kathryn, Lynox, Caroline, Joey and Caydance; his brother David Powell of Forest City; and his pet Punkin.
