She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Terry and Cleda Terry; her husband Gideon Ellis Powers, Jr.; and her siblings, Margaret Kelly and Vernon Terry.

She is survived by: her children, Donna P. Page (Robert) and Gideon E. Powers, III; her grandchildren, Edwin "Allen" Wright, II and Jennifer Wright McKay; her great grandchildren, Brooke Wright, Jessica Wright and Aidan McKay; and her great great grandchild Bentley Thomas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
