He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sexton and Nona Price Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Opal Stewart Sexton; his children, Charles Sexton of Lansing, Steven Sexton of Boone, Rodney Huskins (Becky) of Morganton and Crystal Pace (Tim) of Clayton; and his sister Geneva (Jerry) of Purlear. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
