She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Karen Jares of Iowa, Joe Marada, Jr. of Nebraska, Mike Marada of Statesville, Kathleen Lewis of Illinois and Kristina Marada of Wisconsin. She was also cherished by children, she leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM and on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (4676 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Hudson, NC 28638).
