It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Rufus Haigler of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rufus and Bessie Sherrill Haigler; his wife Vernell Shew Haigler; and his brothers, Rene Haigler and Bryan Haigler.
He is survived by: his children, Donald "Eddie" Haigler (Sandy) of Hudson, Danny Haigler (Melody) of Lenoir and Donna Shepherd (Rob) of Hudson; and his brother Dale Haigler (Sabra) of North Catawba. He is also survived by grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 face masks and social distancing will be required.
