It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Church of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clyde Church to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Church and Pearl Church; his wife Eula Church; his grandson TJ Lewis; and his siblings, Blanche Harris, Mayfield Church, Alfred Church, Harold Church and Bryant Church.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Slaughter (Tim Call), Terrie Cook (Ron) and Patti Proctor; his siblings, Claude Church (Lucille), Yvonne Noblett, Bonnie Miles (Danny) and Laura Huffman; and his grandchildren, Marcia Kinley (Dustin), Brett Slaughter and Brooke Slaughter Jarrett (Josh). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greer-McElveen Funeral Home (725 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
