It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Jeffrey Walker of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anita Burgin Gilliland and Charles Sherman Walker; his stepfather Billy Gilliland; and his uncle Vernon Burgin. He is survived by: his sister Michelle Hall (Danny) of Hickory; his stepsiblings, Teresa Tolbert of Lenoir and Terry Gilliland of Hickory; and his aunts, Carolyn Hargus of Hickory, Mary Lynn of Hickory and Tanya Floyd of Charlotte. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
