She was predeceased by: her stepson Michael Payne. She is survived by: her parents, Robert Lingle and Carolyn Keaton Lingle; her husband Wesley Payne; her sister Robin Beane (Tim); her nephew Thomas Beane; her niece Tiffany Street (Bennett); and her cousins, Priscilla Watson, Peggy Duncan, Mitch Keaton and Kelly Rucker.
