He was predeceased by: his father Christopher Scott Carpenter; and his grandmother Willa Jean Miller Carpenter. He is survived by: his mother Anita Seymour Berry (Keith) of Hudson; his brother Christopher Eric Carpenter of Granite Falls; his stepsiblings, Keith Allan Berry, Jr. of Hickory and Miranda Dagaerag of Drexel; and his grandparents, John Dall Carpenter of Granite Falls, Roger Lee Seymour (Dixie) of Chilhowie, VA and Beverly Combs Williams (Terry) of Lenoir. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
