He was predeceased by: his parents, Hadie Brown and Delcie Jones Brown; his daughter Carolyn Mae Brown; and his siblings, Dorothy Mae Brown, Elva Jean Jones, Betty Jane Metts, Gertie Thompson, Alton Ray Brown, Walter Brown, Westley Brown, James Brown, Jesse Brown and Garland Brown.

He is survived by: his children, Tammie K. Southard of Hubert, Peggy Darlene Brown of Wallace and Willian Earl Brown of Hubert.
