She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Q. Officer and Maxine Officer; her brother Steve Officer; her sister-in-law Cheryl Officer; and her niece Racheal Crites.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Thomas Schernitzki; her daughter Jessica Murphy; her son-in-law Robert Murphy Sr.; her grandchildren, Destinee, Mariah, Robert Jr., Aaliyah and Alannah; her sisters, Mary Downey, Linda Crites and Sara Dugas; her stepchildren, Paul Scott Schernitzki and Rebecca Schernitzki; and her friend Joyce Fuemmeler Arrowood. She is also survived by several nieces, a nephew.
