She was predeceased by: her parents, Colon Stubbs and Irene Heath Stubbs. She is survived by: her husband Aubrey Riggs; her son Aubrey "Kevin" Riggs of Hubert; and her siblings, Katrina Parker of Hubert and Colon "Pat" Stubbs of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Swansboro, Building Fund, 614 W. Corbett Ave. Swansboro, NC 28584.
