It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Richard Ells Jr. of Hubert, North Carolina, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Tatro Ells; and his brothers, James Patrick and Kevin Edward Ells. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Mantel Ells; his children, Tim Ells (Melanie) of Stafford, VA, Kenny Ells of Providence, RI and Julia O'Neal of Norfolk, VA; his grandchildren, Abigail, Joseph, Reagan, Seamus, Paxton and Adeline; his father Roy Richard Ells, Sr. of Ocala, FL; and his brother Ralph Ells of Cedar Lake, IN..
