He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy "Pat" Lorenz. He is survived by: his children, Richard F. Lorenz, Jr. of Edgewater, FL, Edward Lorenz of Charlotte and Debra Harmon of Swansboro. He is also survived by three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
