He was predeceased by: his parents, William Forsythe and Marie Forsythe; and his brothers, Doug Forsythe and Billy Joe Jacquett. He is survived by: his wife Diane Forsythe; his children, Jennifer Tower and Paul Forsythe Jr.; and his stepchildren, Nicole Deems, Stephen Svetlovics and James Svetlovics. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren.
