Joseph Glenn Riggs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Glenn Riggs of Hubert, North Carolina, born in Punta Gorda, Florida, who passed away on November 3, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Webster and Janie Cole Riggs; his wife Beatrice Johnson Riggs; his children, Robin Riggs and Ronald Riggs; his grandson John Riggs; and his brothers, John Thomas and Russell Riggs.
He is survived by: his children, Ginger Riggs of Morehead City, Sherry Glover of Wetumka, AL, Regina Parker (Jeffrey) of Holly Ridge, Denny Lynn Riggs (Darleen) of Newport, Michael Scaturro (Susan) of Wilmington and Ross Scaturro of Wake Forest; and his sister Betty French (Raymond) of Swansboro. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and sixteen greatgrandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home of Swansboro Tuesday (407 Old Hammock Rd, Swansboro, NC 28584). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
