He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Cannon and Dollie Morton Cannon; and his siblings, Joyce "Big Sissy" Campbell, Floyd Cannon Jr., Bill Morton, Leroy Cannon, Francis "Coochie" Cannon and David Cannon.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Darlene Jones Cannon of Smithfield, NC; his children, Jeffrey Bryan Cannon Sr. (Irene), Jennifer Cannon Ballard (Wesley) and Timothy Michael Cannon (Paige); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Bryan Cannon Jr. (Lauren), April Nicole Cannon and Landyn Michael Cannon; his great grandchild Riley Jordan Cannon; his siblings, William "Bud" Cannon (Della), Shirley Shumaker (Paul), Dollie Mae Smallwood, Patricia Culver Atkins (Jim) and Mary Murphy (Billy); and his sister-in-law Janice Morton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
