He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jacobs; his stepsons, Sam Epperson (Susie) of Colorado and Greg Epperson (Lynne) of Raleigh; and his siblings, Alton Jacobs (Nancy), Jerry Jacobs (Phillis), Kathy Darling (Leroy) of Belgrade and Margaret Lewis of Hubert. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
