He was predeceased by: his parents, Dow Howard and Doris Paxton Bancroft; and his brothers, Robert and Walter Knorr. He is survived by: his wife Sarah R. Bancroft; his sons, Andrew Bancroft (Carey) of Richmond Hill, GA and Kenneth Bancroft (Amy) of Colona, IL; his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Allison; his stepchildren, Tammara Kent and William Rosborough of East Moline, IL; and his adoptive daughter Sarrina Bancroft. He is also survived by 10 step grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
