He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Hamler and Lillian Snyder Hamler; and his stepson Michael Conklin. He is survived by: his wife Janet Wecht Hamler; his stepson Sean Conklin of Hubert; and his daughter-in-law Maria Conklin of Jacksonville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
