He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman Guthrie and Alice Parker Guthrie; his wife Jan Guthrie; and his son Dennis Guthrie. He is survived by: his daughter Jeanette Morton (Steve) of Valdosta, GA; his daughter-in-law Debbie Guthrie of Hubert; his sister Audrey Parker of Hubert; his grandchildren, Jason Guthrie (Kate) of Athens, GA, Stephanie Mitchum (Mark) of Orange Park, FL and Lisa Eckwahl (Jacob) of Valdosta, GA; his great grandchild Gabe Guthrie of Athens, GA; his niece Vickie Stanley (Tommy) of Raleigh; and his siblings-in-law, Green and Beverly Galusha (Ron) of Washington.
