He is survived by: his wife Hannelore Stafford; his children, Kirk Stafford of Raleigh and Darlene Cook of Stella; and his siblings, Robert Stafford of Apex, Bill Stafford of Virginia, Connie Lloyd of Louisburg, Elaine Stafford of Raleigh and Pat Stafford Easley of Raleigh. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
