She is survived by: her children, Wanda Dewhirst (Dewey Dewhirst) of Hubert, Jimmy Lambert (Margaret) of Kings Mountain, Eddie Lambert of Lowell, Jerry Hempstead (Annette) of Statesville and Dennis Hempstead of Charlotte. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
