She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry (Viola Johnson) and D. C.; and her brothers, Eugene Johnson, George Johnson and Joseph Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband John Ridgeway; her siblings, Harry Johnson (Helen), Ellen Andrews, Anna Tolliver and Agnes Flock; and her children, Richard McKee III (Linda) of Mechanicsville, MD, John Ridgeway Jr. (Lisa) of Hubert, NC, Shirley Burgess of Floyd, VA, Patricia Bartels (Ronald) of Huntingtown, MD, Geraldine Evans of Glen Bunie, MD and Barbara Brooks (Will) of Lexington Park, MD.. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home (30195 Three Notch Rd, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's or Living Word Community Church, Mechanicsville, MD.
