With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Akemi Tamaki Hazy of Hubert, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Moriji Tamaki. She is survived by: her mother Yoshiko Chinen of Okinawa; her husband Jeffrey Hazy; her sons, Wyatt Hazy (Kathleen) of Orlando and Scott Hazy (Shelley) of Hampton; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Jacob, Tara, Shepherd and Henry; and her siblings, Moriaki Tamaki of Okinawa, Mineko Takematsu of Okinawa and Asami Hamamoto of Okinawa.
