He was predeceased by: his parents, R. F. Swaney and Bonnie Stills Swaney; his wife Ovella Green Swaney; his daughter Shian Lamb; and his siblings, Clydes, Clifford and Alene Hagan.
He is survived by: his children, Randall Swaney (Teresa), Delmar Swaney and Toni Patterson (Larry); his sisters, Mary Webb, Shelby Tino and Girty Lindall; and his grandchildren, Randall Swaney, Jr., Tracy Lamb, Kevin Swaney, Cassie Edney, Candie Walters, Marcy Lamb and Laressa Patterson. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
