It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rauno Johannes Aromäki of Hot Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eeli Aromäki and Martta Seger; and his sister Ritva Tekari. He is survived by: his children, Rauno and Laura Ruefli of New York; his wife Nancy; his grandchildren, Sofia Ruefli and Grayson Ruefli; his brother Kalervo Aromäki (Marja Terttu); and his nieces and nephews, Anu Aromäki-Stratos, Antti Aromäki, Johanna Fontell and Harri Tekari.
